What you need

  • Index cards
  • Marker
  • Project photo or plan
  • Timer if wanted

Try it

  1. Write one step per card.
  2. Shuffle the cards.
  3. Sort them into a build sequence.
  4. Name the step that should happen before glue, finish, or mounting.

Many mistakes happen when assembly order is guessed.

Make it easier

Use five cards: measure, cut, sand, assemble, clean.

Add dry-fit, pilot holes, finish test, and hardware checks.
